If you aren’t receiving the child you want, then you have some underlying beliefs that are impacting your ability to receive.

In my 17 years of experience in working with women to help them create the family they desire, I have noticed certain themes in these beliefs that were blocking their ability to conceive.

Will it be safe for you to go through a pregnancy?
How hard will pregnancy be on your body image?

Beliefs developed from trauma or abuse.
Comfort with your body’s cycles.
Knowing that having sex is safe.

Feminine vs Masculine Energy
Are you able to receive?
Can you receive without feeling guilty or needing to prove you’re worthy first?
Can you exchange the driving, striving, pushing energy with allowing, receiving, and nurturing?

Baby’s Health
Fear the baby won’t be healthy
Significant fears and worries about being able to keep your child safe.

Family History
Wanting to be like / not like parents.

Work/Life Balance
Will you be able to be the parent you want to be and nurture what’s important to you as an individual, including career.

Will a baby come between you and your partner?
Who do you want to be as a mother?

General Themes
Flow of life: is life hard / struggle vs. joy / ease — are you willing to allow what you want to come with joy and ease?

Sometimes treatment is enough to overcome the conflicting beliefs. But, if treatment hasn’t been helping… or if you want to take a more natural approach, learning your personal underlying blocks can be helpful.

Of course everyone is an individual. My invitation to you is to sit with the list and see what resonates and what comes up for you.
